8th Grade Captains
At Camp Kittimaquundi, captains are 8th grade campers with special responsibilities and privileges. Captains are assigned to counselors and are a major support for them during camp. Captains also help during Mass by lecturing, singing, and setting a good example for the rest of the campers.
How to become an 8th Grade Captain
1. Prepare an account on UltraCamp
2. Register for the "Rising 8th Grade" camp session
3. Complete the Captain application questions section and submit it by January 6 - limited acceptance
Note, if you are put on the UltraCamp waitlist, you will still be considered for an interview!
To Note...
Girls who have previously attended camp are not guaranteed a spot as a captain
Acceptance is not based on when you register for camp, but rather on successful review and strength of the application
Captains are required to have an application and interview
